New York, NY At a show Wednesday Night Prince released what many have begun to call “brown rain.” The incident happened following an encore performance of the ubiquitous “Purple Rain.” Fans everywhere are still in shock and disbelief.

“I thought it would be a mistake to try and elaborate on the themes of ‘Purple Rain.’ I figured Prince might try it some time, but I never would have guessed that it would take on this form,” said Sven Carlsen, the Artist-Formerly-Known as ‘the Artist-Formerly-Known-as-Prince’ Fan Club President.

Prince has not yet issued a statement about the incident, but his personal physician said that he believed the “circumstances surrounding this incident were most likely a result of certain lifestyle choices” on the part of the artist.
